Rafael Jesús Soto

Renowned for his contributions to Op Art and Kinetic Sculpture, Rafael Jesús Soto (1923, Ciudad Bolívar, Venezuela – 2005, Paris, France) created distinctive sculptural reliefs using various materials. His work explores color interactions and foreground-background dynamics. Initially a post-impressionist painter, Soto was inspired by Piet Mondrian and later focused on interactive art.
